The problem

Bangladesh’s energy demand is rising, costs are increasing, and millions of rooftops sit unused. Traditional electricity systems treat consumers as users only — never as participants.

  1. 01

    Demand keeps climbing

Homes, shops and factories use more electricity every year, and the grid has to keep pace with every new connection.

  2. 02

    Costs follow fuel prices

Most of the country’s power is generated from gas, oil and coal, much of it imported — so electricity costs track global fuel markets.

  3. 03

    Rooftops sit idle

Flat urban roofs receive strong sunlight all year, around 4–6.5 kWh per m² a day, yet very few of them generate anything.

Why now

The rules now reward rooftop power.

Net metering

Rooftop systems can export their surplus power to the national grid and be credited for it.

How it works

  1. 01

    Assess

We evaluate your rooftop's solar potential.

    • Roof area, orientation and shading reviewed
    • System sized and drawn as a 3D panel layout
  2. 02

    Install

Solar panels and net-metering systems are installed and connected.

    • Panels, inverter and mounting fitted to the roof
    • Net meter connected so surplus power reaches the grid
  3. 03

    Monitor

Real-time generation and consumption tracked on your dashboard.

    • Generation, on-site use and grid export recorded
    • Every figure visible in your eBiddut account
  4. 04

    Earn

Income from solar power is shared back to you, monthly.

    • Exported power is paid for by the utility
    • Paid out by ownership share, with a bank reference

How the income reaches you

Settled every month

  1. 01 · Generate

    The rooftop array produces power

  2. 02 · Export

Surplus flows to the national grid

  3. 03 · Get paid

The utility pays for every exported kWh

  4. 04 · Settle

    eBiddut deducts its commission

  5. 05 · Payout

The rest goes to investors, monthly

Each payout is split by ownership share and shows the commission deducted. Nothing is marked paid without a bank transfer reference.

Message from the CEO

Mohammad Muntasir Uddin

Co-Founder & CEO, M2 Global International Limited

At eBiddut, we believe access to affordable, reliable and clean electricity should be within everyone’s reach.

Our journey began with a simple question: What if every rooftop could become a source of opportunity? A home could generate its own power. A business could gain greater control over its energy costs. A community could take an active role in building a cleaner future.

That belief drives our vision of Electricity 2.0—a future where people can become producers, participants and beneficiaries of renewable energy.

As the consumer brand of M2 Global International Limited, eBiddut aims to make solar adoption easier through practical technical support, digital tools and local partnerships. By working with homeowners, businesses and NGOs, we seek to bridge the gap between understanding solar and putting it to use.

Our commitment goes beyond installing equipment. We want to build lasting trust through clear communication, responsible delivery and support throughout each customer’s energy journey.

Supporting Sustainable Development Goal 7 starts with practical action: one rooftop, one installation and one community at a time.

I invite you to join us in turning Bangladesh’s renewable energy potential into progress that people can experience in their everyday lives.

Let’s build a future powered by possibility.
